Our client, a global leader in manufacturing vehicle systems, is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer for a permanent position.
The role requires experience in software development using C, C++, and testing with C#, along with PCB schematic and layout design.
Candidates must have a proven background in real-time programming and microcontroller programming, with FPGA/VHDL experience being desirable.
The position offers a salary of £45,000 per year and is site-based with standard working hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Fridays.
Applicants should be confident in both hardware and software design, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsible for software development. This would involve both bug fixing and new coding. You will be predominantly using C and C++ whilst testing code in C#
Re-designing and designing analogue and digital circuitries using Altium, will be also responsible for PCB Schematic and Layout designs. This role will be a split between hardware and software design.
Understanding of alternative options regarding part/component selection
Hand on development or testing of PCB boards.
Working with multi-threaded and Multi-process programming

Embedded Systems EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Must be confident with C++, C and C#
PCB Schematic and Layout design experience. Must have both analogue and digital exposure
Proven experience working with real-time programming and microcontroller programming
FPGA/VHDL experience (Desirable)
