Responsibilities include:* Cleaning the interior and exterior of train carriages* Completing defined and described tasks and routine related work.* Receiving general direction from a supervisor.* Using tools and power equipment for cleaning purposes* Keeping equipment, indoor and outdoor industrial and office sites in a clean and operating condition.Principal Accountabilities:* Undertaking the cleaning of allocated rolling stock with minimal supervision to meet the requirements of the production plan, while complying with all local instructions and specifications.* Undertaking external cleaning of the train using manual methods.* Cleaning specific driveline systems by means of brushing or compressed air.* Performing fuelling, tanking, and Controlled Emission Toilet (CET) operation as required.* Assisting other team members where appropriate.* Reporting all defects to the Supervisor.* Conducting underframe cleaning specific to the site.* Undertaking any other duties as required.Knowledge & Experience:* Knowledge of Health and Safety, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and manual handling.* Good communication skills, both oral and written.* Knowledge of cleaning equipment and relevant chemicals.
