Train Timetable Planner - York - £40,000
The Role
A Train Timetable Planner is required to join one of the UK's leading Train Operators. Due to an internal promotion, the planning team require a Timetable Planning Specialist to take ownership of short term train planning.
This will require close collaboration with Network Rail to devise schedules up to 4 weeks in advance. This person will be ensuring all processes are compliant with stringent industry standards and are delivered with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.

Essential Criteria
- Experience within: Train Planning, Logistics Planning, or other similar positions (that adhere to geographical & practical implications)
- Strong Communicator – experience dealing with senior stakeholders
- Strong problem solver
- Rail experience is advantageous but not essential
Location
- York with potential for Hybrid working (up to 2 days per week at home)
