Our client, a leading environmental and planning consultancy have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Associate Town Planner to join their Yorkshire based team. The successful Associate Town Planner will be leading an established team of planners, winning work for the team and delivering expert planning advice to their clients on residential, energy and rural developments.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Chartered Member of the RTPI
  • Demonstrable experience within the planning industry, working within a consultancy or local authority
  • Proven track record in project management and business development
  • Previous team management experience

Duties:

  • Taking up the role of project lead on a variety of projects across the North of England
  • Managing and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Actively contribute to the further growth of the team and workload
  • Building up a strong client portfolio
