Childcare Lecturer - T Levels

Hourly Rate - £25-£35ph
Start: September
Location: North Yorkshire
The role:
Our client are currently looking for a Lecturer to cover a member of staff who will be on long term sickness from the start of the new academic year. The cover could last until November, however, this may be extended further into the new academic year.
Your responsibilities would initially be to create fun, engaging lessons across the Childcare T-Levels courses. Resources and schemes of work can be provided, however you would be expected to make the lessons your own. You may also be required to support staff in a number of duties such as; student interviews, attending open evenings and supporting students coming in for taster days.
Our Client:
The client is an OFSTED "Good" graded Further Education College, situated in the North of Yorkshire. They have strong links to employment for apprentices in the area. They are the only college in the area that are signed up with the NHS, so that their Healthcare and Childcare students have access to apprenticeships that can offer them the very best experience getting them ready for future employment.
What you need:
- A current, Enhanced DBS (Ideally on the update service)
- Experience or understanding of T Levels
- Ability to create engaging lessons for 16+ Learners
- Teaching experience within further education
- A level 3 or above in Childcare/Early Years
- Available from September 1st
- To have a "can-do" attitude
