We are seeking enthusiastic Front of House Staff to join the team within the catering department of an academic institution for a temporary position this summer. Day-to-day of the role:- Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Taking customer orders accurately and providing menu recommendations when requested.
- Serving food and beverages to guests.
- Ensuring tables are clean and tidy at all times.
- Providing excellent customer service, addressing any guest queries or concerns promptly.
- Assisting with setup and cleanup of the dining area.
- Complying with all health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience as a waiter or waitress is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and outgoing personality.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to work legally in the UK.
