JOB SUMMARYÂ
The Camp Store Sales Associate is responsible for operating our retail merchandise locations, creating a welcoming environment for campers, parents, staff, and guests. Retail operations include our Custom Station and Equipment Rental program. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced and fun environment.Â

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Provide the highest level of guest service to internal and external guests, focusing on product knowledge, guest service, and engagement.Â
Always ensure an enthusiastic and professional level of customer service.Â
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.Â
Knowledgeable in retail sales and operations. Ability to utilize a POS system and software. Â
Willingness to learn product knowledge and ability to make appropriate suggestions to guests.Â
Ability to apply sales techniques, merchandising and implement sales strategies.Â
Custom Station and Rental Program - Use your creativity while working with campers and guests with our Custom Station Program. Work with campers to design and create a variety of custom personal keepsakes. Also help operate our Equipment Rental program.Â
Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and maintain a welcoming shopping environment. Regularly restock shelves and monitor inventory levels to ensure that products are available for customers. Ensuring closing and opening procedures are complete. Cleaning the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing. Maintain loss prevention standards and procedures.Â
Set a positive example and be a role model.Â
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentÂ
Fill in to provide support and coverage for other retail areas, as needed.Â
Carry out safety protocols & processes ensuring safety of all campers, guests and staff.Â

Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position  and federal background screening via FBI fingerprintingÂ

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTSÂ
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.  Â
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.  Â
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.  Â
