Senior Cloud Engineer

Work location: Onsite only at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland

Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000

The Cloud Engineer will support the Army Next Generation Command and Control mission at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Maryland.  This project requires a TS/SCI clearance and is a full-time onsite position at that location within SCIF.  The cloud engineer will collaborate with data engineers, systems integration engineers and other cloud platform engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support existing Cloud capabilities on a commercial and edge-based cloud
• Design and support services for authorization, authentication, CICD pipelines
• Deign and operate services for continuous ATO
• Integrate and operate services with 3rd party vendors including Anduril and Palantir
• Optimize code for high availability in edge computing and data mesh operations

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant technical field
• TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Experience with AWS or similar
• Experience with highly scalable microservice ecosystems
• Experience with edge-deployed services.
• High bandwidth APIs and data ingest
• Strong interpersonal skills for working within a broad technical team and with customers
• Ability to communicate technical details of work
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
• Ability to build & optimize build pipelines

Desired Experience

• Experience with Anduril and Palantir data mesh APIs.
• Security + Certification
