QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting an Engineer, to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is contingent upon award.
Duties:
- Plans and administer environmental, operational, or performance tests on aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, general industrial, experimental, automotive equipment, industrial machinery and equipment, controls, and systems, and other products and systems.
- Provides comprehensive test and evaluation (T&E) support, including developmental testing, formal qualification tests, flight tests, operational tests, field integration tests, informal tests, and demonstrations.
- Develops, documents, and executes comprehensive test strategies, plans, procedures, and cases to verify system functionality and confirm that all technical and operational requirements are met.
- Supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency, repeatability, and coverage of the testing process.
- Analyze test results, identify and document system defects, and provide detailed test reports, metrics, and technical recommendations to project stakeholders to inform decision-making
Required Skills & Experience:
- Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI eligibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- At least eight (8) years of related experience required.
- An additional seven (7) years may substitute for the degree requirement.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

Physical demands of this position include ability to:
- Be independently mobile.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
