Primary Purpose of Position:Â This position will provide new personal accounts, business accounts, special accounts and loans for our members. Support main lobby operations during peak business hours, ensuring efficient service and positive members experience. Engaged members in utilizing credit union products and services to strengthen their financial health and support their long-term financial goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:Â
- Provide an outstanding level of member service in all aspects of Credit Union business.Â
- Practices always having a positive attitude in daily work with members, team members, and the Credit Union.Â
- Actively practices GREAT Standards and serves as an example to the team.Â
-  Utilizes the CRM program to deepen member relationships, enhance member engagement, and identify opportunities to better serve members’ financial needs.
- Demonstrates a high level of confidence and proficiency in all aspects of the position.Â
- Highly responsible, dependable, forthright, and a self-starter in carrying out assigned duties.Â
- Effective in educating members on all Credit Union products, services, loans, and card services.Â
- Skilled in member education regarding all loan types and use credit report analysis to identify better lending opportunities for members.Â
- Ability to cross-sell lending products and assist in achieving lending goals through member-focused solutions.Â
- Once certified, act as Financial Advisor for the Credit Union.Â
- Proficient in opening all types of accounts and performing all account maintenance.Â
- Provides a broad range of account maintenance, system, and technological support skills.Â
- Skilled Membership Officer, approving accounts accurately and in a timely manner according to procedures.Â
- Acts as a Membership Officer and maintains all branch new account queues.Â
- Provides video and in-person services for current and prospective members.Â
- Proficient in conducting loan interviews, completing loan applications, and facilitating loan signings.Â
- Proficient in dealing with difficult members and complex situations while maintaining professionalism.Â
- Proficient in handling account fraud and dispute resolution, including card, ACH, draft and online banking issues.Â
- Manages Death of a Member accounts and follows proper account closure procedures and protocols.Â
- Follows all lending guidelines as directed by the VP of Lending.Â
- Follows MIP (Member Identification Program) requirements.Â
- Complies with the Credit Union's BSA, AML, OFAC, and all other applicable compliance policies.Â
- Meets deadlines for assigned tasks, training requirements, and professional development commitments.Â
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
