Hear Carolina an independent private audiology practice nestled in southern North Carolina, has an opening for an Audiologist at their Aberdeen, NC, location.

The Audiologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiological evaluations, performing specialized tests, and creating treatment plans for adult patients while taking full responsibility for the complete patient journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone and speech audiometry, impedance testing, and auditory brainstem response testing, for adult patients
  • Interpret test results and recommend appropriate treatment and management of hearing and balance disorders, including Cochlear Implants and Tinnitus management.
  • Fit and program hearing aids and other assistive listening devices for adult patients, including programming and mapping of Cochlear Implants.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advances in audiology.

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree and/or Doctorate in Audiology
  • Audiology License in North Carolina (or ability to obtain license)
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a full schedule of patients
  • Ability to work independently
