Facility Supervisor

As we continue to scale our global platform, the Facility Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of Fanatics Commerce Fulfillment, Distribution, and Manufacturing Centers.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Facility Supervisor is critical to the smooth operation of Fanatics Commerce Fulfillment, Distribution, and Manufacturing Centers, responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and performance of facility systems, manufacturing equipment, automation assets, material handling equipment, and grounds. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role serves as a strategic partner to the Operations Team — analyzing trends, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring all work orders, preventative maintenance, and safety standards are executed with precision. The Facility Supervisor delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Partner daily with Operations, Safety, and senior site leadership to align on facility priorities, downtime reporting, and equipment availability decisions that keep the facility running at peak performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners, coordinating vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Serve as a key member of the site Safety Committee, contributing subject matter expertise and recommendations to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain Maintenance and Operations Leadership.

People Leadership:

  • Provide daily assignments, monitor team performance, and conduct performance evaluations including auditing, coaching, training, and recommendations for promotions or corrective action up to and including separation recommendations to Senior Leadership.
  • Drive the training and development of Facilities Technicians, fostering a positive, inclusive working culture that supports professional growth and high performance.
  • Guide the team through facility-related emergencies with professionalism and urgency, maintaining composure and decisive action under pressure.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime and facility readiness so that Fulfillment, Distribution, and Manufacturing operations can meet fan demand without disruption.
  • Maintain rigorous standards for housekeeping and grounds to support a safe, productive environment that reflects Fanatics Commerce's commitment to operational excellence.
  • Deliver accurate system performance and downtime reporting to Site Leadership, enabling data-driven decisions that protect fulfillment capacity and fan-facing service levels.
  • Uphold all company operating procedures and safety requirements, ensuring the facility environment supports the health and wellbeing of every team member who serves our fans.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical system issues using technical drawings — including blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics — and advanced diagnostic tools to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of Motor Control equipment including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and Input/Output (I/O) devices.
  • Analyze facility performance trends in partnership with the Facilities Manager, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, reduce costs, and strengthen preventative maintenance programs.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of Manufacturing, Material Handling Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic systems to recommend and implement solutions that increase operational efficiency.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

  • Hold P&L responsibility for Repairs and Maintenance, Equipment Rentals, and Waste Disposals, managing expenditures with cost-consciousness and sound business judgment.
  • Ensure completion of all Work Orders, Repairs, Preventative Maintenance activities, and Records Retention in full accordance with company procedures and standards.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities with flexibility, adjusting hours as needed to ensure business needs are consistently met.
  • Maintain compliance with all departmental and company standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements, modeling accountability and ownership at every level of the facilities function.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of related experience in a Facilities leadership role within a Fulfillment, Distribution, or Manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced skills and hands-on ability in Manufacturing Equipment, Material Handling Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic systems.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing Motor Control equipment including PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and I/O devices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings including blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics.
  • Proven ability to manage through facility-related emergencies with professionalism and sound decision-making under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to produce and analyze performance reports and maintenance records.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with flexibility to adjust schedule as business demands require; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and hand-twisting for prolonged periods.

Education:

  • High School Diploma required.
