Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift (5852)

2nd shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. This position will require 1st shift training for two (2) months, with the possibility of traveling to Beloit, WI, for additional training.

Duties may include:

• Supporting production and manufacturing operations

• Performing preventative maintenance

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing machinery when problems arise

• Repairing malfunctioning machinery and equipment

• Ordering parts and replacing damaged hardware as needed

• Maintaining communication with company personnel and vendors

• Communicating with co-workers, shop associates, and management on maintenance related issues

• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• A minimum of two years' industrial maintenance experience

• Knowledge is roll forming, punch press, shear, and metal braking is preferred

• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills

• Must have own tools

• Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Physical Demand:

• Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.

Work Environment:

• 100% manufacturing setting

• Associate must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement in varies areas, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.

• Associate will have exposure to typical working conditions within the manufacturing environment, including but not limited to, seasonal temperature changes, occasional exposure to exhaust fumes, dirt, dust, debris, and grease, moving forklift equipment, and pinch points on machinery.

Pay Rate Information:

$23-26/hr. Based on experience and qualifications.
