QA Technician-Trim Sampling

Job DetailsJob Location: DemKota Ranch Beef - Aberdeen, SD 57401Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.50 HourlyPosition Summary Collect fat samples using a core drilling technique on all combos produced. In addition, an E. coli sample will be collected using a N60Plus drilling method or similar method on each combo produced. Job Responsibilities: Perform assigned QA testing or source testing on raw materials and supplies. Testing shall be accomplished in compliance with local, state federal and company policies and procedures. Maintain sampling equipment in a sanitary condition. Maintain detailed and accurate records completing all required documentation of laboratory samples and testing. Other duties as assigned. Must be flexible to work within production hours. QualificationsJob Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Must demonstrate positive attitude, strong work ethic, decisive nature & high level of initiative Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work with minimal supervision effectively Mathematical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal & organizational skills Experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse workforce and upper management Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US Must have the ability to read, write and speak English Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests to be eligible for employment. Must be able to pass a background check Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs frequently sit, stand, bend, and walk 8-10 hrs. day  Work Environment: Ability to work in cold or hot environment Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities
