Quality Assurance Technician-Trim Analysis

Job DetailsJob Location: DemKota Ranch Beef - Aberdeen, SD 57401Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $20.00 - $22.50 Hourly Position Summary Analyze fat samples using the core samples collected on all combos produced. Analyzing will take place in the MeatScan machine and/or MeatMaster. Accurate records need to be kept for each individual combo. Position may also include collecting AQL samples on combos, inspecting for and documenting any defects found. Job Responsibilities: Perform assigned QA testing or source testing on raw materials and supplies. Testing shall be accomplished in compliance with local, state federal and company policies and procedures. Maintain testing equipment in a sanitary condition. Maintain detailed and accurate records completing all required documentation of laboratory samples and testing. Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections of AQL audits Other duties as assigned. Must be flexible to work within production hours. QualificationsJob Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Must demonstrate positive attitude, strong work ethic, decisive nature & high level of initiative Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work with minimal supervision effectively Mathematical and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal & organizational skills Experience preferred but not necessary, willing to train Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse workforce and upper management Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US Must have the ability to read, write and speak English Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50lbs, stand, bend and walk 8-10 hrs. day Work Environment: Ability to work in cold or hot environment Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities.
