ESSENTIAL
The Project Construction Manager reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the delivery of discrete packages of work assigned by the Project Manager. The Construction Manager will deliver the packages of work with focus on the following main issues:
- Provides specialist skills, integrity, leadership and knowledge to installation and discipline package personnel within the project team.
- Independently manages, evaluates, organises and prioritises work.
- Understands clients’ requirements and defines installation workscope including equipment and vessel requirements, installation procedures, deliverables and activities.
- Inputs in to the offshore schedule to optimise efficient use of assets.Â
- Inputs into resources planning of installation team to suit schedule ensuring they have the required competence to conduct.
- Inputs into risk management process with respect to project and client requirements and ensure implementation.
- Inputs in to weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings with the client, owning the performance of discreet packages managed.Â
- Manages the development of relevant installation and operational deliverables and activities prior to and during offshore execution phase.
- Focal point with Client, Marine Warranty Survey and 3rd Parties regarding installation scope of work.
- Inputs in to project KPIs, setting and communicating performance standards required to achieve project success in execute phase of the project.
- Maintains registers / schedules; acts as interface with other discipline groups; manages day-to-day project activities.Â
- Fully endorses and executes all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives.
- Interfaces with SCM, Commercial and Legal to ensure compliance with company policies and IMR contract for the execution of work.
