The Machine Operator Level 3 is responsible for mixing proper quantities of raw materials for the production of baked goods as well as ensuring the accuracy of each recipe and dough.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Place loose or packaged raw materials on scales, add or remove portions of material to obtain specified mixture.
- Read work order and/or formula to determine type and quantity of materials to mix
- Record amount of materials used for production records and maintain surplus inventory of ingredients used on a regular basis. Document all lot numbers for traceability purposes.
- Dump materials in prescribed sequence into mixer.
- Transfer mixed materials to production or storage areas.
- Sort mixed materials into designated bins or containers, according to type.
- Ensure no foreign material is introduced into each mixture.
- Must be available to work overtime when needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean & safe work area at all times
- Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
- Accept and adapt easily to change
- Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement

Experience
A high school diploma is required as experience in an inventory related field, strong organizational skills and computer proficiency are essential, specifically SAP and MS Office software.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred
- Bakery experience a plus
