Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking SLP for a travel contract position in Abilene, TX. We are accepting both local and travel candidates.

Position Details:

Position Name: Speech Language Pathologist - LTC

Pay Rate: Range $2360 to $2400 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: LTC

Shifts available: Days

Shift timings:  8 hours, Days, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hours, Monday-Friday, No weekends, No call 

Position Requirements:

  • Speech Language Pathologist experience: 2+ years - Required
  • LTC experience - Preferred 
  • Prior Travel experience – Preferred 

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

  • SLP License for the State applying or Compact if applicable - Required
  • BLS Certification  - Preferred 

Job Description:

  • Speech therapists develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations. Communication treatment plans may include techniques that not only help the individual to be better understood, but also to help them better understand others.
  •  Leads, guides and directs the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.
