Position Summary
Engage craft in safety by serving as a support system for the craft employees. Help gather ideas and feedback from craft to present to management and staff.Â

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as a liaison between management and craft employees.Â
- Be involved in Craft Voice in Safety (CVIS) committees.Â
- Serve as a mentor and advisor for craft and front line supervisors.Â
- Serve as a mentor to safety and management – improving communication / soft skills coaching.Â
- Help with training, demonstrations, rodeos and orientation for craft.Â
- Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications, point out deficiencies and explain and take any corrective action needed.Â
Qualifications
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.Â
- Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.Â
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.Â
- Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools.Â
Requirements
- Must have all required tools.Â
- Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft).Â
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Â
- Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.Â
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.Â
- Performs other duties as required.Â
