MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Site Coordinator is to recruit, train, equip, and provide leadership and program supervision for the Summer Camp program.

KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Manage Program:

  • Implements MA program elements and strategies at assigned program site(s) while ensuring program quality is being maintained across all sites and MA standards for program elements are being adhered to

2. Recruit, Lead, and Manage Staff:

  • Ensures all site staff positions are filled and individual recruiting goals are met by actively managing the hiring pipeline, interviewing, and onboarding processes; leads, manages, and coaches site staff while fostering a healthy, values-driven culture aligned with Mentoring Alliance, building strong relationships and discipleship connections that support both professional and spiritual development.

3. Safety and Compliance

  • Provides comprehensive oversight of safety and compliance at assigned site(s) by ensuring all safety measures are implemented and followed, partnering with regional staff to complete audits, promptly addressing audit findings within established timelines, responding decisively to incidents or crises in coordination with site teams, regional leadership, school or district partners, and local authorities as appropriate, and completing all required documentation and reporting in alignment with MA policies and regional requirements.

4. Partnerships and Community Engagement:

  • Cultivates strong partnerships with school leadership and community stakeholders to ensure program success at assigned site(s), actively engages with children and families to build meaningful relationships, and responds promptly and professionally to questions or concerns from students, parents, and key partners.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s or experience equivalency
  • Ability to work with others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed camp setting
