Position Description: 

The CORE Office Assistant serves as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors entering the Success Coaching Office. This position provides administrative support, assists with daily office operations, helps maintain a welcoming environment, and supports student engagement through social media and promotional efforts. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, dependable, and passionate about helping fellow students succeed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner, assisting students with check-in procedures for coaching appointments and events.
  • Answer basic questions about campus services and direct students to appropriate resources.
  • Assist with preparation, planning, and promoting events and assisting CORE staff during events and special projects as assigned.
  • Develop graphics, photos, videos, and student-focused posts that promote student success resources, and assist in creating content for the office’s social media platforms.

 

This position requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, including designated office hours.  The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with campus partners and other students and will foster belonging and serve others through their work.
