The S3C tutoring program at McMurry University is a CRLA certified program; therefore, each tutor will be trained based on the required guidelines of the program.
As a peer tutor, you will tutor students in your specialized subject(s) on a one-to-one basis, as study groups, and/or as a required lab.


Required Qualifications

Applicant must be enrolled full-time as a McMurry student with an award of work study funds and all required information confirmed received by the Office of Financial Aid. Must be able to provide original forms of identification to complete payroll documents as described in IRS Form I-9 “List Of Acceptable Documents.”


Preferred Qualifications

1) A GPA of at least 3.5 in the area(s) you are able to tutor.
2) An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
Dependable and responsible person able to convey concepts of subjects to fellow students.



Eligibility

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time McMurry student with work study funding awarded and required documents confirmed by the Office of Financial Aid.
