Job DetailsJob Location: Abingdon - Abingdon, VA 24210Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 HourlyPURPOSE Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-time WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE.  We currently have 2 shifts available: Mon - Fri 9AM - 5PM Sun - Thurs 2:30 PM - End of Shift  The individual in this position will be responsible for safely picking, moving, and loading our beverage products onto our delivery trucks. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager (Night). Replenish pick locations as needed. Function in a fast-paced environment, as a member of a team and independently. Build pallets that travel safely without damage. Load delivery trucks and other vehicles. Maintain a clean environment. Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS Maintains professional internal and external relationships throughout the company. Demonstrates a high level of integrity. Demonstrates flexibility and ability to work nights and early mornings as training, team-building, and other circumstances dictate.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Good organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Previous experience with computerized warehousing preferred. Must be able to bend, lift, carry, climb, stoop and stack product using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.
