SUMMARY OF JOB

As the Lead Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care while leading the daily operations of our pharmacy. In this position, you'll combine your clinical expertise with your leadership skills to ensure the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, provide comprehensive patient care, and support the health and well-being of patients throughout the Redeemer Health system and the surrounding community.

You'll oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, mentor and train pharmacy staff, and help grow our pharmacy services through a commitment to quality, collaboration, and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by balancing clinical care, patient education, operational excellence, and team development, while ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and professional standards.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2- 4 year’s prior experience in a retail pharmacy and/or hospital out-patient pharmacy setting required
  • Pharmacy Management experience required
  • Ability to work a rotating day, evening and Saturday shifts is critical
  • MTM certification required
  • Immunization certification required
  • Completion of an ASHP- accredited residency desirable but not required

 

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with an entry-level pharmacy degree (B.Sc. or Pharm.D)
  • Pennsylvania pharmacist licensure in good standing (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Pennsylvania Authorization to Administer injectables in good standing (or eligible for licensure)
  • ACLS certification in good standing
