Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to prepare and operate computer-operated cutting equipment. This role involves setting up and adjusting machinery, ensuring precision in machining operations, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. If you have strong manual dexterity, control precision, and attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate computer-controlled cutting equipment
  • Modify any detected issues before running production
  • Follow proper safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear
  • Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machine tools
  • Communicate equipment failures, safety concerns, and injuries
  • Maintain records of work performed, test results, and materials used
  • Keep the work area clean and return tools to proper storage
  • Properly dispose of waste materials after completing work assignments

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience as a machinist or in a related field preferred
  • Strong manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness
  • Ability to read and understand written and spoken instructions
  • Skilled in monitoring gauges, dials, and machine operations
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Work Environment:

This position is based in a warehouse setting where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

 

Shift:  

Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
