Job Summary:

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products according to company standards. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and safety while following production schedules and maintaining equipment.

 

Essential Job Functions:

·        Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble, stitch, and finish products according to specifications.

·        Inspect materials and components before sewing to ensure quality standards are met.

·        Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality requirements.

·        Perform minor machine maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments as needed.

·        Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.

·        Report equipment malfunctions, production issues, or defects to the supervisor.

·        Maintain a clean and organized work area.

·        Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

 

Schedule:

The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts, with the flexibility to work Friday, evenings and weekends as needed based on workload demands.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

Required:

·        Must be safety-focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.

       Must be a U.S citizen.

 

Physical Requirements:

·        Prolonged periods sitting at a workstation.

·        Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

 

Working Conditions

Work performed primarily in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise levels.
