The Associate Channel Manager will lead execution of trade strategies and build commercialization programs to deliver segment and brand growth with new & existing customers, assist with new product and category traction at retail and improve brand awareness within the Independent, Chain, Law Enforcement and Conservation channels of business. Â Act as a highly collaborative liaison between sales, brand marketing, product development and retail customers including integration of all marketing and trade initiatives to ensure a cohesive trade marketing plan is executed with clear, consistent, meaningful communication.

As an Associate Channel Manager, you’ll conceive, develop & execute improved processes to link all sales & marketing initiatives with activities directed towards the independent, chain, farm & ranch, law enforcement and conservation customers.  Work closely with marketing to incorporate brand building activities and product development activities with sales initiatives.

- Develop targeted programs & strategies to drive brand impact and product awareness including in-store merchandising, digital communication, and improved eCommerce execution via online brand pages or website development.
- Support execution of drop shipment expansion.
- Bring creativity to conceive, develop, and execute promotions and/ or events whether it be on a national, regional, or working with specific retailers to elevate brand and product awareness.
- Work cross-functionally between the sales, marketing, and product development teams in execution of events & trade marketing programs within budget and timelines for independent, chain, farm & ranch, law enforcement and conservation customers.
- Incorporate brand ambassadors into targeted promotions & events.
- Provide necessary input to the supply chain team to help ensure forecast accuracy of products & materials needed for events & promotions.
- Analyze and communicate post-promotional results then recommend actions to continually enhance program ROI and execution working closely with finance.
- Develop product training materials & initiatives collaborating with product development and marketing to be used by the field sales team.
- Effective communication of initiatives, objectives and plans to internal stake holders and external sales teams that align with the business calendar.
- Engage in account presentations and events.
- Perform specific and delegated duties as assigned by management.

- Sales achievement – overall company sales and channel sales will be measured against goal.
- Understanding and executing to multi-channel customers including independent dealers, chains, law enforcement and conservation accounts
- In-store merchandising as it relates to branding, shop-in-shop fixtures, and point-of-sale displays

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years in channel management and/ or marketing experience within the retail space.

- Periodic domestic travel required including customer visits and industry trade shows.
