The Village of Ackley is seeking a caring, reliable, and positive individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. In this role, you’ll assist with the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals, ensuring a safe and welcoming dining experience for our residents. This is a great opportunity for students or anyone looking to get started in healthcare or food service!

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare the dining area for meals at designated times

  • Assist in meal service and ensure proper portions and presentation

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen tools, and food service areas

  • Interact positively with residents and staff during meal prep and service

  • Respond to resident requests in a kind and respectful manner

What You’ll Need:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older

  • Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliability and professionalism

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality required

  • Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday
