SUMMARY
Maintain levels of quality as established by Director of Hotel Operations and Laundry Supervisor. Â Assist the Laundry Supervisor when needed in taking on additional responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to, the following:
- Take over the responsibilities of the Laundry Supervisor in their absence.
- Maintain a high level of workplace safety
- Ensure compliance with all Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
- Keep accurate records of all linen that is processed
- Ensure maintenance problems in your area are submitted to engineering
- Participate in any area of laundry that you are needed
- Adhere to personal appearance standards and present a professional image
- Ensure departmental compliance with personal appearance standards
- Responsible for maintaining strong communication with all areas of the Resort
- Good rapport with fellow employees and reflect positive attitude
- Accurately complete all assignments requested of you in a timely fashion
- Maintain open line of communication with Resort staff
- Must be flexible and able to work Monday – Sunday, including holidays.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 years previous supervisory experience required
- Minimum 1 year previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid Chauffer license. Driving record must be free of any alcohol or drug related convictions within the last 3 years, and may not have more than 6 points in moving violations, or, the license may not have been revoked at any time within the last 36 months.Â
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is required.Â

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to used hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear
- The employee is required to stand and reach with hands and arms; required to walk around; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to push or pull a linen cart that weighs a minimum of 240 pounds to a maximum of 696 pounds. The employee will be given assistance to move the heavier linen carts if needed.
- Employee will stand for extended periods of time
- During our summer/peak months of May- October employees must be physically able to work in warmer conditions that range from 85-100 degrees on a consistent basis.Â
