Description

S&S Firestone, Inc.* is one of the largest independent tire distributors in the U.S., with over 1 million square feet of inventory. S&S Tire has over 650 employees across eighteen states, with the business focusing in three business sectors: wholesale, commercial, and retread. We are excited to announce we are opening a new warehouse and looking for a seasoned Account Manager. 


The Account Manager is responsible for achieving annual sales and profit goals within their assigned territory. This territory covers an approximate 60-mile radius of the Acworth, GA area. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and willing to travel regularly- up to 75%.


This role manages all customer relationships and sales activities in the region — including product support, program and pricing assistance, warranty and adjustment claims, supply chain coordination, and collections when needed.


Job Duties:

  • Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained
  • Engage with multiple customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty
  • Implement strategies for retaining customers requesting to terminate or downgrade their account
  • Record changes to customer accounts, update service packages, add accounts, and remove accounts as needed
  • Other duties as requested

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Preferred - 4-year college degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Sales
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and strategic thinking skills
  • Outgoing/comfortable in social settings personality
