Mercy is seeking a Surgical Technologist responsible for administering various diagnostic tests, including cardiac catheterizations, and explaining procedures to patients.
Candidates must be graduates of a two-year Radiologic Technology program and have one year of experience if ARRT certified, or five years if LPN certified.
The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires certifications in Cardiovascular and Interventional Technology, as well as BLS certification.
Strong interpersonal communication, multitasking, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to perform well in high-stress situations.

Responsible for the administration of various diagnostic testing including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations with explanation of procedures and test to patients. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring responsible independent judgment. Provides maintenance to the equipment.

Position Details:

Qualifications
Education: Must be a graduate of a two-year program in Radiologic Technology
Experience: One year experience preferred if ARRT. Five years' experience if LPN. Ability to multi-task and react appropriately in high stress situations.
Certifications: Cardiovascular and Interventional Technology. Must be registered by A.R.R.T. or RCIS or registered in another Health Care field. BLS certification required.
Other: CPR required. Excellent interpersonal communication, multitasking and organizational skills required.
