Technical Operator 

Position Description: The Technical Operator works with other team members to produce ceramic resonators, inductors, and RF filters. Candidate will also check and inspect parts against predetermined tolerances and inspection criteria during various production processes. Candidate could be required to sit for extended periods of time, must have good communication skills and be very flexible as daily job assignments change. This position also requires the ability to learn technical skills associated with Tuning RF ceramic bandpass filters.

Work schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday-Friday

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manual tabbing of resonators
  • Dispensing solder into resonators
  • Pre and post inspection of resonators, inductors and/or RF filters
  • Operation of Tape and Reel machines
  • Pre-inspection and post-inspection of parts
  • Electrical Testing/Tuning of resonators, inductors, and RF filters
  • Troubleshooting RF filters

Job Requirements: 

  • HS diploma or equivalent. Certificate or degree in electronics is a plus
  • Good mechanical skills. Ability to make tooling adjustments on equipment.
  • Good manual dexterity. Will be assembling small components with tight tolerances.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (basic Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good vision- Must be able to work with small parts (2mm)
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. periodically
  • Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials, Assembly drawings and electrical testing specifications. 
  • Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.
