The Opportunity
Join our team as an Account Manager and play a key role in expanding our presence throughout the Southwest territory (TX, OK, AR, LA, CO, NM). This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, uncovering new business opportunities, and delivering outstanding service. You'll be the face of our organization in the field, partnering directly with customers, growing existing accounts, and helping new customers discover the value of our solutions. From managing your sales pipeline and forecasting territory performance to exceeding growth goals, you'll have the autonomy and support to make a significant impact on both our customers and our company's success.

Work Location
CreXo is headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with office space in Sharon, Massachusetts. This is a fully remote position, working from a home office based in Texas.

Key Responsibilities
- Manages the full sales cycle, including prospecting, relationship development, proposal generation, closing, and post-sale follow-up
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships
- Builds and maintains a strong sales pipeline and accurately forecasts territory performance
- Develops long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate solutions
- Converts leads into long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and consistent follow-up
- Maintains regular communication with customers via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person visits
- Responds promptly to customer inquiries regarding product features, pricing, purchasing options, and technical support
- Maintains accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system
- Maintains ongoing post-sale engagement to support long-term customer satisfaction and retention
- Participates in sales meetings and training sessions as assigned to stay informed on products, processes, and best practices
- Travels to meet with customers and attend industry events, conferences, and tradeshows
- Performs other additional duties as assigned or required
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of successful field sales experience managing a defined territory
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong account management, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills
- Ability to manage a geographic territory and travel regularly to customer sites
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, marketing, or a related field
- Experience selling into education
- Familiarity with education purchasing processes and institutional buying cycles
- Experience selling into grant-funded purchasing environments
Travel Requirements
- Moderate (up to 25%) travel throughout a multi-state territory to attend tradeshows and meet with customers is required. Travel is typically by car and/or air.
