Bear Robotics creates solutions for the future of automated hospitality and is a leading industry manufacturer of AI-driven autonomous robots. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team, with global accounting policy ownership for Inventory, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Recognition. As the Accounting Manager, you will ensure these areas are accounted for consistently across every entity, while personally booking the entries and performing reconciliations for our US, UK, and Ireland entities.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set and maintain global accounting policy for Inventory, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Recognition, ensuring consistent application across all entities
  • Book entries and perform reconciliations for Inventory and Fixed Assets for our US, UK, and Ireland entities, including quarter-end review and year-end stocktake coordination with auditors
  • Book entries and perform reconciliations for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for our US, UK, and Ireland entities
  • Book entries and perform reconciliations for Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) for our US, UK, and Ireland entities, including setting accounting policy for new deal types and structures
  • Own accounting for fixed assets and Depreciation for our US, UK, and Ireland entities
  • Own Warranty Provision accounting and quarterly reserve calculations
  • Prepare global reporting on Inventory, Fixed Assets, and Revenue for leadership and for audit purposes
  • Support ad hoc accounting and month-end close tasks as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Sales, Legal, People Ops, and Supply Chain to support growth and expansion into new products and geographies
  • Support the preparation of financial statements for our US and international subsidiaries, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, and Board reporting
  • Help build and implement strong financial controls across all aspects of the P&L and balance sheet
  • Engage in project work with our ERP advisors to implement full utilization of our ERP system and drive finance transformation through process and system automation
  • Perform technical accounting analysis under US GAAP and IFRS
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Work as part of a high-performing accounting team on a global basis
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • None

Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Direct, hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Experience in a hardware, hardware+SaaS hybrid, or physical inventory business — comfortable with inventory and COGS accounting in a manufacturing or robotics-adjacent environment
  • Comfortable owning capital expenditure / fixed asset accounting processes end-to-end
  • Hands-on experience with accounting systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Experience supporting tax reporting and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and leverage technology to drive automation and efficiency
  • Strong track record of maintaining the compliance and good standing of legal entities across multiple jurisdictions
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP and the ability to prepare relevant technical accounting memos
  • Strong knowledge of core financial principles, practices, and regulations
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and collaborate across multiple time zones
  • Experience using NetSuite, Google Sheets, and Zip highly preferred
  • Must be able to work onsite at our Addison, TX office daily
  • Ability to travel to international locations 1–2 times per year

Preferred Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Experience in Manufacturing / AI / Tech industry
  • Experience working across multiple legal entities with a global policy-setting mandate



Education/Experience:

  • CPA Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant accounting and industry experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment

The pay range for this position is $122k - $179K + discretionary annual performance bonus . Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience.
