Position Summary

The Corporate Recruiter – Field Service Technicians is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of experienced Field Service Technicians across Malin’s Texas and Louisiana markets. This position will focus heavily on proactive candidate sourcing, primarily through Indeed and other recruiting resources, to identify individuals with mechanical, automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, electrical, and other transferable technical backgrounds.

This role works closely with Field Service Managers and Talent Acquisition leadership to understand hiring needs, develop qualified candidate pipelines, and provide a high level of service throughout the recruiting and hiring process. The ideal candidate is driven, organized, customer-focused, comfortable supporting multiple locations and hiring managers, and willing to actively search for talent rather than relying solely on incoming applicants.

This position will initially work onsite in our Addison office to support training, collaboration, and development. Once fully trained and established in the role, the position is expected to transition to a hybrid work arrangement.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for experienced Field Service Technicians and other technician-related positions across multiple Malin locations.
  • Heavily utilize Indeed and other job boards to proactively source, identify, engage, and recruit qualified technician candidates.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated technician hiring needs.
  • Partner closely with Field Service Managers and other hiring leaders to understand staffing needs, position requirements, market conditions, and hiring priorities.
  • Conduct candidate prescreens to evaluate mechanical background, relevant work experience, compensation expectations, geographic/territory fit, and overall qualifications.
  • Coordinate candidate assessments, hiring manager interviews, offers, pre-employment requirements, and hiring activity throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate activity, documentation, and status within the applicant tracking system.
  • Provide consistent communication and excellent customer service to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
  • Build candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, employee referrals, technical schools and colleges, community partnerships, alumni relationships, and other recruiting resources.
  • Develop a working understanding of Malin’s Field Service Technician position and the mechanical, electrical, diagnostic, and customer-service capabilities required for success.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to continuously improve candidate quality, interview effectiveness, and the overall hiring experience.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and candidate movement to identify potential bottlenecks and adjust sourcing efforts accordingly.
  • Manage multiple openings, hiring managers, locations, and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, accountability, persistence, and follow-through in meeting hiring needs.
  • Participate in recruiting events, career fairs, technical-school partnerships, and other community outreach opportunities when appropriate.
  • Partner with the broader Talent Acquisition and People Services teams to support changing business and workforce needs.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with ADP Recruiting/ADP Vantage or a similar applicant tracking system.
  • Experience supporting multiple hiring managers, locations, or geographic markets simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical or technical terminology and the ability to recognize transferable experience from related industries.
  • Experience with candidate assessments and structured recruiting/interview processes.
  • Experience developing recruiting partnerships with trade schools, technical colleges, alumni organizations, community organizations, and other sources of experienced technical talent.
  • Strong customer-service mindset and demonstrated ability to establish credible relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
