Job DetailsJob Location: ADDISON, TX 75001Role Summary   The Director of RCM Training – leads the strategy, design, and execution of an enterprise‑wide enablement function that drives revenue cycle performance, workforce capability, and regulatory compliance across anesthesia services. This role is accountable for building scalable infrastructure that standardizes knowledge, reduces performance variability, and directly improves cash flow, audit outcomes, and organizational scalability. This position shifts the organization from traditional training delivery to a data‑driven enablement model, integrating education, quality, technology, and performance management to support sustained financial and operational excellence. Executive Mandate Build and lead a high‑performing, enterprise enablement function directly tied to revenue and compliance outcomes Standardize anesthesia revenue cycle knowledge, workflows, and competencies across all teams and regions Reduce operational variance and revenue leakage through performance‑aligned enablement Serve as a strategic partner to Revenue Cycle, Compliance, Clinical, HR, and Technology leadership Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Enterprise Enablement Strategy Define and execute a multi‑year revenue cycle enablement strategy aligned with organizational growth goals and key financial KPIs Establish standardized learning frameworks across all revenue cycle functions, including front‑end operations, coding, billing, accounts receivable, and patient collections Build a scalable onboarding and continuous education model for a distributed, multi‑site workforce Design and operationalize an enterprise Revenue Cycle Academy focused on anesthesia‑specific education 2. Revenue Cycle Performance Enablement Directly align enablement initiatives to measurable outcomes, including net collection rate, days in A/R, denial reduction, charge lag, and revenue leakage mitigation Partner with operational leaders to diagnose performance gaps and deploy targeted enablement, workflow, and competency solutions Lead root‑cause analysis of revenue loss and drive corrective actions through training and process redesign 3. Anesthesia Subject Matter Leadership Establish and govern enterprise standards for anesthesia billing education, including time‑based billing, medical direction and concurrency requirements, modifier usage, and payer variability Ensure consistent interpretation and application of complex payer and regulatory rules across all revenue cycle teams Act as the organizational escalation point for complex billing education issues and systemic knowledge gaps 4. Quality, Audit & Compliance Integration Integrate enablement strategy with QA and audit functions to create a closed‑loop performance and compliance system Translate internal and external audit findings into targeted training, remediation, and competency validation Partner with Compliance leadership to operationalize CMS guidance, payer requirements, and regulatory changes through proactive education Reduce audit risk through standardized, preventive training programs 5. Learning Technology & Enablement Infrastructure Select, implement, and oversee learning management systems and enablement technologies Build digital learning pathways, certification programs, and centralized knowledge management platforms Leverage analytics, automation, and AI‑enabled tools to track competency, personalize training, and correlate enablement to performance outcomes Develop dashboards linking training adoption and completion to revenue cycle KPIs 6. Workforce Development & Talent Enablement Define role‑based competency models across the anesthesia revenue cycle Create certification, advancement, and career progression pathways to support retention and internal mobility Reduce time‑to‑proficiency for new hires and cross‑trained staff Partner with HR and senior leadership on workforce planning and long‑term capability development 7. Change Management & Transformation Lead enablement efforts supporting system implementations, workflow redesign, and M&A integrations Drive rapid adoption of new technologies, processes, and operating models Develop and deploy change management frameworks tailored to revenue cycle operations 8. Cross‑Functional Leadership Serve as a strategic partner to Revenue Cycle executives, Compliance leadership, Clinical/Anesthesia leadership, IT, and Transformation teams Translate business and clinical strategy into frontline execution capability Align clinical documentation practices with revenue optimization and compliance standards 9. Team Leadership & Governance Build, lead, and develop a team of trainers, instructional designers, and enablement or QA analysts Establish governance models for training standards, content approval, and version control Manage enablement budgets, vendor relationships, and external training resources Set performance expectations and accountability tied to enterprise outcomes Qualifications 10+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations (anesthesia strongly preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Education, or a related field preferred 5+ years in leadership roles spanning training, enablement, operations, or performance improvement CPC, CPMA, or equivalent certifications or demonstrable expertise Experience within multi‑site or national physician services or practice management organizations Qualifications
