Description 

GEORGE MCKENNA ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously 
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and financial performance 
  • Estimate and manage change orders 
  • Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and field teams 
  • Review project drawings and provide layout/design support 
  • Visit job sites regularly to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety standards 
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships 
  • Support business development efforts 
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and company policies 

What You’ll Do 

  • 10–15 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, including field and project management 
  • Experience managing commercial and industrial projects valued between $1 million and $10 million 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 72 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software such as Accubid Classic  
  • Ability to travel to local and out-of-town job sites as needed 
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in active construction environments
