Job Description:

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements

  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained

  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack

  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle

  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Java & Python Advanced Level experience.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using advanced Java and Python technologies.

  • Ability to build agentic solution for QA using company AI solutions. 

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with RAFT and UFT (QTP) test automation tools.

  • Proven ability to develop automated UFT/QTP test scripts from scratch and enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot existing automation frameworks and scripts.

  • Minimum 3+ years of API testing experience, including both REST and SOAP web services.

  • Hands-on experience using SOAPUI and Postman for API validation, test execution, debugging, and automated testing.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience writing Oracle SQL queries, including data validation, test data analysis, and backend verification activities.

  • Strong understanding of database concepts and the ability to validate application functionality through direct database analysis.

  • Hands-on experience working with XML, XSD, and JSON data formats.

  • Experience developing and maintaining VBA macros.

  • Strong experience in backend testing, including file processing, message queues (MQs), and integration testing.

  • 3+ years of Playwright test automation experience

  • 1+ year of experience with AI agents used for testing/automation purposes

  • Experience working within Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), including test design, test automation, and test execution.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and complex environment while delivering high-quality results.

  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to coordinate work end-to-end, including issue resolution, risk management, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively as a team player across development, testing, and business teams.

  • Ability to support multiple applications and projects simultaneously while managing competing priorities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
