Position Summary

Everflow Supplies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Shipping Supervisor to lead our warehouse shipping operations and ensure customer orders are shipped safely, accurately, and on time. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment, enjoys developing high-performing teams, and is passionate about driving operational excellence.

As the Shipping Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day shipping function, manage warehouse personnel, maintain inventory accuracy, and continuously improve processes to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate leads by example, promotes a culture of accountability and safety, and works collaboratively across departments to meet business objectives.

 

What You'll Do 

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing work environment.
  • Monitor daily productivity, shipping accuracy, labor utilization, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve operational goals.
  • Plan and allocate labor resources to meet production schedules and changing business demands.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through proper inventory control, cycle counting, and location management.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse by enforcing proper product storage, stacking, and housekeeping standards.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and safe material handling practices.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and address performance concerns when necessary.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements that increase productivity while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the safe operation and daily inspection of forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Utilize NetSuite or a comparable Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage shipping activities, inventory transactions, and operational reporting.
  • Collaborate with warehouse leadership and cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, inventory accuracy, and overall distribution center performance.
  • Assist with special projects and other operational responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Bring 

Required  

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team of five (5) or more employees in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
  • Experience managing warehouse KPIs, including productivity, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, and labor performance.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP/Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred  

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution, industrial products, or building materials.
  • Experience supporting warehouse expansions, relocations, or facility transitions.
  • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements that increased productivity, improved inventory accuracy, or reduced operational costs.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.


Target Compensation Range: The posted pay range of $55,000- $60,000 represents the anticipated hiring range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, internal compensation practices, and other job-related business considerations, consistent with applicable law.
