As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using computer or tablet tools to document observations and support daily operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology and media manufacturing location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, facility hazards, equipment issues, and policy violations to Allied Universal supervision and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
