Alternate Site Manager- DLA Distribution Barstow

We are hiring an Alternate Site Manager to support and act on behalf of the Site Manager in all aspects of contract performance. This role provides daily operational leadership and ensures continuity of operations across both Barstow locations.

The Alternate Site Manager must be capable of stepping into full authority at any time and must possess strong logistics management experience, workforce leadership skills, and familiarity with DoD distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in overseeing all contract operations and personnel.
• Assume full authority for contract performance in the Site Manager's absence.
• Lead supervisors and functional teams to meet mission requirements and APLs.
• Ensure compliance with PWS requirements, SOPs, audit controls, and safety standards.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, and operational planning.
• Support QCP execution, issue resolution, and customer service activities.
• Maintain operational readiness for surge, emergency requisitions, and on‑call support.
• Coordinate daily with Government stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of Distribution Management experience, OR 7+ years of management experience in distribution operations of similar size and complexity.
• 2+ years of experience using automated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within the last 5 years.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience supervising large teams in logistics or warehousing environments.
• Ability to obtain CAC and meet all security requirements.

All Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must complete a favorable background investigation and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
