Job Summary: As a Pharmacist at Broulim’s Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our customers. Manage and dispense medications, provide expert counseling, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Join us in creating a trusted and accessible pharmacy experience within our grocery store. 

 

Examples of Duties: 

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and safety standards. 

  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer any questions or concerns. 

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management. 

  • Contribute to profitability of pharmacy by knowing how to buy and disperse Rx orders within company policy. 

  • Conduct health and wellness screenings, administer vaccinations, and provide other pharmacy services. 

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies. 

  • Help lead a pharmacy team, ensuring a high level of competence and customer service. 

 

Knowledge: 

  • Deep understanding of pharmacology. 

  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing pharmacy practices. 

  • Familiarity with insurance plans and billing procedures. 

  • Awareness of health and wellness trends and initiatives. 

Skills: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 

  • Proficiency in computer systems and pharmacy software. 

  • Attention to detail in prescription dispensing and patient counseling. 

Abilities: 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. 

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy program. 

  • Current and valid pharmacist license in the state of Idaho or Wyoming where applicable. 

  • Previous experience as a licensed pharmacist. 

  • Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and software.
