Job Description

As a Security Officer Parking Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for court visitors, staff, and officials. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $16.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of court facilities, public areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, helping to maintain orderly operations and directing visitors to appropriate locations when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
