As a Deployment Technician, you’ll help deliver and implement the technology that keeps our restaurants running at their best. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll be involved in new restaurant openings, lifecycle initiatives, and partner with IT, operations, and vendors to ensure smooth and successful implementations.

Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:
- Order, inventory, ship, track, install and test hardware for new restaurant openings (NROs).
- Build, image, configure, ship, track, install, and test back-office, POS and CC driver computers for NROs.
- Travel multiple times per year (1–2 weeks at a time) for on-site IT installations and testing.
- Provide remote support for NROs from training through mock service and opening day.
- Assist with maintaining and updating NRO Turnover Manuals and documentation as systems and processes evolve.
- Inventory, image, configure, ship and remotely work with restaurants to install and test back-office computers, POS and CCdrivers for our annual technology lifecycle plan (TLP).
- Assist with departmental projects by following detailed plans and scopes of work (SOWs); support the deployment and testing of hardware/software accordingly.
- Can work independently & manage one’s own time effectively with minimal supervision.
- Keep leadership informed with timely status updates.
What we require:
- Familiarity with computer imaging and system management tools (e.g. LANDesk, Ivanti, Microsoft Endpoint Manager).
- Understanding of networking; WAN and LAN network architectures, low-voltage data, cabling and troubleshooting.
- Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Experience with IT ticketing and tracking systems (Jira, Ivanti, Salesforce).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail orientated, ability to follow documentation as written and carefully update as needed.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to build strong relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Tenacious self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 lbs.

What we prefer:
Â
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent certifications such as CompTIA Fundamentals or A+.
- Previous experience in IT support or hardware deployment.
- Experience with Point of Sale and Restaurant Applications (e.g. PosiTouch, QSR).
- Experience actively using project management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday, MS Project, Jira).
- Knowledge of hardware of Point of Sale terminals.
- Restaurant experience.
