About the Role:
Soul Care Home Health Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our dedicated team in Agoura Hills, CA. Responsibilities:
- Enter and update patient and operational data accurately into company systems and databases
- Review and verify source documents for completeness and accuracy before data entry
- Maintain organized digital and physical records in compliance with healthcare privacy standards (HIPAA)
- Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors in a timely manner
- Generate and distribute routine data reports as requested by management
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure data integrity
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and document management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework a plusÂ
- Data entry experience with strong typing speed and accuracy a plusÂ
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google sheets)Â
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or medical office software preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
