Part Time Position, Weekends*
Compensation: $16.90 per hour + Tips
General Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests at the bar
- Pour drinks, using standard pour specifications
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Clean and stock the bar daily
- Record accurate tip-out sheets daily
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Non-Essential Functions:
- Assist with the cleaning of operational areas
- Serve food as requested
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- 2-3 years of experience as a bartender in a restaurant environment
- Must have a valid California Food Handlers card
- Must have a thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service
- Current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain)
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Experience:
- Bartending: 2 years (Preferred)
- Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
