Parts Lead

Position Summary

W&B Service Company is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Lead for our El Paso, Texas location, to oversee daily parts operations while providing outstanding service to both internal and external customers. This role is responsible for parts sales, inventory management, warehouse organization, receiving and stocking inventory, ordering parts, invoicing, deliveries, and ensuring the parts department operates efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Essential Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and timely follow-up.
• Order parts from vendors while maintaining proper inventory levels.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming shipments.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper warehouse organization.
• Manage warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization to maximize efficiency.
• Deliver parts to customers and technicians as needed.
• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records. 
• Monitor backorders and communicate expected delivery dates with customers and service personnel.
• Train and assist Parts Associates in department procedures and best practices.
• Support branch operations by working closely with Service, Sales, and Management teams.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Parts department experience
• Previous semi-trailer, transport refrigeration, heavy-duty truck, experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to lead by example.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds and operate material handling equipment.
