Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage Driver in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related policies.
• Monitor storefront corridors, loading areas, and high-traffic public spaces for policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior, and report findings through appropriate channels.
• Assist with access control, queue management, and customer interactions during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or opening and closing activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
