The Opportunity

The Defense Sector is seeking a dynamic Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to help lead the Indo-Pacific Logistics Integration Program in Hawai’i. This role is pivotal in delivering theater-wide logistics and support services across all INDOPACOM components, ensuring operational excellence in every environment.

As Deputy Program Manager, you will:

  • Drive day-to-day logistics operations and serve as the critical liaison between operations, maintenance, and logistics teams.

  • Step into full authority as Program Manager when required, ensuring seamless leadership continuity.

  • Shape strategy, allocate resources, and oversee execution to meet mission objectives across diverse and complex environments.

  • Build strong relationships with government stakeholders, service providers, subcontractors, and contract personnel to sustain theater operations.

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, deliverables, and quality standards while fostering innovation and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as Program Manager in the PM’s absence, ensuring mission continuity.

  • Provide visionary leadership and cultivate strong customer relationships.

  • Oversee Task Order execution and coordinate with government agencies to achieve mission success.

  • Ensure secure, compliant information exchange aligned with classification and technological standards.

  • Lead and mentor direct-report employees, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.

  • Manage onsite operations in Hawai’i near Camp Smith.

  • Guarantee contract compliance, resource allocation, and delivery of high-quality results.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven program management experience with leadership of large-scale programs (100+ personnel, multiple locations).

  • BA/BS with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 5+ years.

  • Expertise in managing complex, strategic projects across organizational boundaries.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences.

  • Deep knowledge of DoD contracting, FAR/DFARS, and government regulations.

  • Ability to oversee logistics across OCONUS locations and multiple mission systems.

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI access.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience within US INDOPACOM, subordinate commands, and partner Pacific nations.

  • Track record of leading programs exceeding $100M in scope.

  • Civilian and/or military logistics expertise, particularly in contested Pacific environments.

  • Familiarity with automation, robotics, AI/ML, and logistics optimization.

  • Knowledge of DoD logistics systems, sustainment, and deployment activities.

  • Experience interfacing with PACFLT, PACAF, USARPAC, MARFORPAC, and other military customers.

  • PMP certification preferred.
