Work experience:Ā 

  • Minimum one year of experience required working in a healthcare environment.Ā Ā 
  • Experience in data entry, customer service, collections and medical terminology preferred.Ā

Knowledge:Ā 

  • Possesses understanding of third-party requirements and healthcare billing.Ā 
  • Knowledge ofĀ regulations and HIPAA privacy standards is strongly preferred.Ā 
  • Medical Terminology/Health Insurance NavigationĀ

  • Computer proficiency to include word processing and patient accounting system.Ā Ā Ā 
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required.Ā Ā
